Inn at the Old Silk Mill is dedicated to making your special day not only a day you will never forget, but a historic experience.  Our venue is one of a kind, and offers not only a place to say “I do”, we also offer accommodations for you and your guests to stay in our 27 unique antique appointed rooms.  This gives you the ability to create a “home away from home” with your closest family and friends on this special occasion.

Also on our downtown property, The Silk Mill offers a rustic atmosphere that can be transformed to your taste featuring brick walls original to the building- dating back to the late 1800s, and our high ceilings with large beams that carry great sound for your band or DJ.  The building is described as a “giant brick canvas” that suits any style- from shabby chic to classic elegance.  The Silk Mill is the largest venue of its kind in the Fredericksburg area and is able to accommodate up to 300 guests.

    Inn at the Old Silk Mill offers a Victorian feel that takes you back to the romanticism of the late 19^th century.  All of our 27 bed & breakfast rooms feature hand picked antiques, and our sweeping staircase makes for outstanding wedding portraits.  The Grand Foyer, with our ornate fireplace and parlor, would be open for use for evening gathering or simply relaxing with your loved ones.

     Keep in mind, a horse drawn carriage or  Trolley Car, are only a call away to bring you to one of our fine restaurants in Old Town.  Or you may wish to walk across the street to Old  Town Steak and Sea Food, offering one of  the finest dining atmospheres in Downtown Fredericksburg.
